Terms of Service
Effective July 25, 2026
1. The service
CAIN is a software service for catering and event businesses: inquiry capture, AI-drafted proposals, online signatures, and deposit collection. It is provided by CAIN ("we", "us") to the business that opens the account ("you"). Your clients interact with pages you share with them; their agreement for the catering itself is with you, not with us.
2. Subscription & billing
CAIN costs $149 per month after a 14-day free trial, billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from Manage billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
3. Payments to you
Client deposits are processed by Stripe. Amounts, taxes, fees, and the accuracy of every proposal you send are your responsibility — CAIN drafts, you approve. Sales-tax rates the app suggests are estimates; confirm your obligations with your tax advisor.
4. Your content
Your menus, leads, proposals, and client data remain yours. You give us the limited rights needed to operate the service (store, process, display, back up). We use AI providers to process inquiry text and menus on your behalf; we don't sell your data or use it to train models.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no spam, no uploading content you have no right to, no attempts to break or overload the service or access other tenants' data. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. AI-generated drafts can contain mistakes — review before sending. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost business.
7. Termination
You may close your account anytime. We may terminate for breach of these terms with notice where practical. After closure you can request an export of your data for 30 days.
